The continued updating of South Africa’s workforce is a key requirement in the attainment of sustained and positive growth in the economy. This growth is non-negotiable in our efforts to eradicate poverty and unemployment.

The Achiever Awards 2010 recognise companies and organisations that have implemented effective and relevant skills development and training programmes for their employees. These programmes will have shown exceptional creativity and innovation and will have brought about positive change.
The Awards cover all aspects of the winning programme. From the HR practitioner who coordinated the programme and the service provider who implemented the programme to the leaders of the organisation who recognised the importance of skills development and training.
